The “Series 1” Louis Vuitton campaign is like a mirrored projection of all images to come in an unprecedented, boundless form of expression with Jurgen Teller taking things further in this third opus

Annie Leibovitz, Juergen Teller and Bruce Weber produced three photographic stories on the same day, at the same time, in very different venues. They are photographers, artists, undoubtedly commentators on modern times, each given this vast arena by Nicolas Ghesquière to interpret not only his fashion collection but also his idea of fashion...

Who better to express a sharp vision on fashion than Jurgen Teller and his distinctive, raw and overexposed visual approach? Freja Beha was captured in the Scandinavian pavilion of Venice’s Giardini della Biennale, for this highly personal fashion film.

As part of “Series 1”, Louis Vuitton's new campaign, discover how Bruce Weber captured on film models Liya Kebede, Jean Campbell and Kirstin Liljegren.

Exercising their own style, three photographers, Bruce Weber, Jurgen teller and Annie Liebovitz, shared their personal and very precise vision of modern-day fashion. They willingly agreed to play this enjoyable yet risky game where they offered their distinct visions to critical examination.

For Nicolas Ghesquière, “It’s a way to bring together an artistic family which I feel close to.(…) Only they could rise to the challenge of being brought face-to-face with one another, and ultimately combined to create a single story, because their visual expression is so powerful that it goes beyond all forms of classification or definition.”

Louis Vuitton's campaign, “Series 1”, was designed as an invitation to convey ideas of a designer and fashion collection. Discover now the first video by Annie Liebovitz.

In this latest campaign, the Maison breathes new life into the valuable idea of innovation and ways in which to express it. Annie Leibovitz, Juergen Teller and Bruce Weber produced three photographic stories on the same day, at the same time, in very different venues, to express this very feeling.

Annie Leibovitz shot pictures of Charlotte Gainsbourg in the studios of artists Ellsworth Kelly, Brice Marden and Storm King Art Center in New York. Further beyond the print campaign, go “behind the scenes” with this short film.

The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) has commissioned Louis Vuitton to conceive the trunk case which carries the World Cup 2014 trophy all football players dream to hold.

After a first appearance on the football field in 2010 in South Africa, the Louis Vuitton case is especially designed to carry the famous trophy that will be delivered by Gisele Bündchen to the winning team on July 13th at the Maracana Stadium de Rio de Janeiro.

Handmade in Louis Vuitton's historic Asnières workshop opened in 1859, the special order case is covered in Louis Vuitton's iconic Monogram canvas and is fitted with the company's signature brass lock and corners.
